In an official statement released on Wednesday, this facility is applicable for various passport requests, including first-time passports, children under 16, lost or damaged passports, and those issued more than 15 years ago.

Starting from January 17, 2024, the online payment system will be operational, allowing applicants to pay fees conveniently for eligible passport requests. The embassy encourages citizens to check their website for up-to-date passport eligibility and application guidance. For those eligible to apply using the DS-82 (Adult Renewal) option, the existing ‘pay.gov’ payment option remains available until further notice.
