Speaking to the media on Monday, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari criticized the former ruling party, PML-N, stating that it has lost its democratic standing and is avoiding political competition. He pledged to address the issue with the Election Commission and courts, accusing PML-N of attempting to contest elections while sidelining its opponents.
The PPP leader claimed that the ECP did not allocate the party’s ‘arrow’ symbol to seven of its candidates in Punjab.
Despite this, Bhutto-Zardari affirmed that PPP would persist in its fight, drawing parallels with the party’s historical participation in elections from 1992 to 2018.
Expressing optimism about the February 8 elections, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari shared details of his extensive campaign tours across various cities.
He reiterated his criticism of the current development model, emphasizing PPP’s commitment to investing in people for a more significant impact.

Bhutto-Zardari positioned PPP as the sole option to navigate the country out of the current economic crisis and urged voters to defeat the party symbolized by a lion with the arrow.
He promised the implementation of major infrastructure projects, including the establishment of a university and cardiovascular hospital in Shahdadkot, along with plans for flood victim rehabilitation.
