Multiple political parties with similar names are registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

As the election oversight body released the lists, it was disclosed that there are 13 political parties registered with the name Muslim League, three under Peoples Party, and two each under Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has allocated electoral symbols to 150 political parties for the upcoming elections.

Apart from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, other parties registered under the Muslim League category include Pakistan Muslim League-Jinnah, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid, Pakistan Muslim League-Zia, Pakistan Muslim League Council, Pakistan Muslim League Sher-e-Bangal, Pakistan Muslim League-F, Pakistan Muslim League Organisation, Pakistan Markazi Muslim League, Peoples Muslim League, and Awami Muslim League-Pakistan.

Similarly, three parties fall under the Peoples Party category, namely Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians, Pakistan People Party-Shaheed Bhutto, and Pakistan Peoples Party Workers.

In addition, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-Nazriati and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians are among the parties enlisted with the election supervisor.

Similarly, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-S have been registered with the ECP.
