PTI officials have accused a fraudulent website, resembling the official portal designed to provide information about party-backed independent candidates for the elections, of disseminating inaccurate details to voters.
This claim is substantiated, as the information provided by the website ‘pticandidate.com’ has not been verified by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) or the party’s official records.

Fact-checking by iVerify Pakistan confirms the authenticity of the PTI’s official web portal as ‘pticandidates.com,’ distinguishing it from the alleged fake site, which lacks the ‘s’ in ‘candidates.’

It should be noted that as of Thursday, the PTI’s official websites were reportedly not functioning. The iVerify platform examined several constituencies, finding disparities between the alleged fake website’s information and the official lists from the ECP, PTI, and Imran Khan’s Facebook account.
This investigation supports the PTI’s assertion that the website in question is indeed fraudulent and disseminating inaccurate information.
