Once again, Elon Musk has relinquished his position as the world’s richest person to Bernard Arnault, Chairman of French luxury goods company LVMH. With a current net worth of $208.8 billion, Bernard Arnault now holds the title of the richest individual globally, surpassing Elon Musk, whose net wealth is currently at $204.7 billion, as reported by Forbes.

The dynamic between Elon Musk and Bernard Arnault often leads to their interchange on Forbes’ ‘Real-Time Billionaires List.’ Bernard Arnault serves as the CEO of LVMH, the parent company of luxury brand Louis Vuitton, while Elon Musk is the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and X.

Following Bernard Arnault and Elon Musk, the third position is now occupied by Jeff Bezos, with a net worth of $181.3 billion, followed by Larry Ellison ($142.2 billion), Mark Zuckerberg ($139.1 billion), and Warren Buffett ($127.2 billion).

Bernard Arnault claimed the title of the world’s richest person on Friday, according to Forbes. The market capitalization of LVMH, responsible for luxury brands like Dior, Bulgari, and Sephora, reached $388.8 billion on Friday, January 26, in comparison to Tesla’s $586.14 billion.
