In an exclusive talk with Multan TV HD, Pervaiz Khattak firmly rejected rumors about leaving his political party or retiring from politics.
He said that such reports are not true and are meant to mislead, stressing his ongoing commitment to serving the public.
He expressed his appreciation for the people recognizing his efforts and assured them of his continuous dedication to serving them.
Addressing the rumors of his resignation, the PTIP chief clarified that there is no truth to the speculations about him leaving politics or quitting the party. While he accepted the election results and acknowledged the outcome with humility, he also respected the decision made by the voters.
It’s important to note that Khattak faced defeat in the recent general elections, resulting in the PTIP securing only two seats in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. Last year, Khattak had formed a separate faction named PTI Parliamentarians after parting ways with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
