Imran Khan, from jail, has asked for help from the United States to address concerns about unfairness in the elections.

PTI leader Barrister Saif, along with senior party member Asad Qaiser, spoke to the media outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi after meeting with party founder Imran Khan.

According to Saif, Imran Khan shared a special message for the United States, emphasizing the need for their involvement in addressing concerns about unfairness in the elections.

Imran Khan reportedly expressed disappointment, stating that the US didn’t take necessary actions against measures that were unfavorable to PTI. He mentioned that historically, the US has supported dictators and installed corrupt leaders, and this was an opportunity for the US to correct its past actions. Imran Khan urged the US to keep a close watch on potential election rigging in Pakistan.

Barrister Saif quoted Imran Khan, saying, “It is America’s responsibility to raise its voice on the transparency of elections in Pakistan.” Asad Qaiser also expressed concern about Washington’s silence regarding alleged rigging in the recent general election. He highlighted that while the US claims to champion democracy worldwide, both the US and Europe have remained silent on election irregularities in Pakistan.

Qaiser emphasized the importance of reminding the US and Europe about their responsibility, stating that the fundamental democratic rights of the people of Pakistan were at stake. He stressed the desire for the rule of law and adherence to the Constitution.

Additionally, Qaiser called upon the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the alleged rigging, emphasizing that representation in government should rightfully belong to those who receive votes. The plea was for a fair and just democratic process.
