Imran Khan says if we take a loan from the IMF, it will make more people poor.

Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), claimed that various institutions, including courts and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), were manipulated to favor his rival, Nawaz Sharif of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N).

He referred to allegations of electoral fraud made by former Rawalpindi commissioner Liaquat Ali Chatha during the February 8 polls and stated that this influenced his perspective.

Imran Khan disclosed that he had written a letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), urging them not to grant any loans to Pakistan due to what he perceives as an interim government established through fraudulent elections. He mentioned updating his “software” based on recent revelations.

Expressing concern, Khan questioned the feasibility of repaying debts acquired under such circumstances, suggesting it would only exacerbate poverty in the country. He stressed the need for investment in Pakistan to address the rising debt issue.
