In PSL 9, Peshawar Zalmi won against Lahore Qalandars by a margin of 8 runs.

In the 12th match of Pakistan Super League Season 9, Peshawar Zalmi emerged victorious by defeating Lahore Qalandars by eight runs.

Despite a remarkable century from Rassie van der Dussen, Lahore Qalandars ended up on the losing side.

During the match, Peshawar Zalmi set a challenging target of 211 runs for Lahore Qalandars, losing four wickets in the process. The opening partnership between Babar Azam and Saim Ayub played a crucial role, scoring 136 runs, with Babar Azam contributing 48 runs and Saim Ayub scoring 88 runs. Lahore Qalandars’ bowlers Shaheen Afridi took three wickets, and Jehandad Khan took one.

Lahore Qalandars, playing their fifth match in the tournament, are still seeking their first victory. On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi, having played three matches, won one and lost two.

In the 12th match, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and chose to field first as per the decision made by their captain, Shaheen Shah Afridi.
