Global figures like Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and Ivanka Trump attended the pre-wedding party of Anant Ambani, the son of India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani.
The extravagant celebration, held in Jamnagar, Gujarat, featured performances by Rihanna and magician David Blaine. Over 1,200 guests from Silicon Valley, Bollywood, and other fields attended the three-day event, including cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and actor Shah Rukh Khan.
Anant Ambani, 28, is set to marry Radhika Merchant in July. The pre-wedding bash spared no expense, with around 100 chefs preparing 500 dishes for guests. The festivities took place near Reliance’s main oil refinery, and the city’s airport reported a significant increase in flights for the event.
Chartered jets were provided for guests, along with services like hairstylists and makeup artists. The Ambani family’s charitable foundation, Reliance Foundation, involved weavers and visually impaired artisans in creating a special atmosphere for the celebrations. A new Hindu temple complex is also being constructed for the wedding and will later be open to the public.
The pre-wedding party included a communal dinner for over 50,000 villagers. The presence of global celebrities and the grandeur of the event have made it a widely talked-about celebration.
