Pakistan’s embassy in Beijing, China, held a big party to celebrate their 84th birthday as a country.
It was a fancy event with lots of important people attending, including high-ranking Chinese officials, ambassadors from other countries, and special guests from China’s government, businesses, and media. Even people who study a lot and journalists were there!
The most important guest was China’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Sun Weidong. Pakistan’s ambassador to China, Mr. Khalil Hashmi, gave a speech to remember the leaders who founded Pakistan, especially Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who bravely fought for Pakistan’s independence.
Ambassador Hashmi talked about how much Pakistan has grown and improved in various areas over the years, even when things were tough. He also mentioned all the good things Pakistan has done internationally to promote peace, cooperation, and development around the world.
He also thanked the Pakistani people living in China for helping to make the friendship between China and Pakistan even stronger. He said it’s important for the two countries to trade more and have their citizens visit each other more often. He described the China-Pakistan bond as a close friendship built on trust, respect, and helping each other out.
China’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Sun, spoke next. He praised Pakistan for all they’re doing to protect their country and its people. He said China and Pakistan should continue working together to solve problems they both face and to stand up for the rights of developing countries, making the world a fairer place.
China also showed its support for Pakistan’s new government. Mr. Sun said China is committed to being Pakistan’s friend and working together to build a bright future for both countries. The party ended with a special performance by a group of Chinese and Pakistani children, which added a fun cultural touch to the celebration!
