Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wished the Hindu community a happy Holi, which they celebrated all over Pakistan.
He encouraged everyone to see our differences as strengths. He mentioned that Pakistan is proud of its diversity in language, culture, and religion. He hoped that Holi would bring new beginnings and happiness as spring arrived.
President Asif Ali Zardari also spoke about the importance of Holi, saying it represents the victory of good over evil. He emphasized that Pakistan’s Constitution guarantees religious freedom and celebrates diversity.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also extended her best wishes to the Hindu community and announced a special package for them. She said that Holi promotes tolerance, peace, and unity among all citizens, and assured that minorities have equal rights in the country.
