Pakistanis are looking forward to a potentially long break for Eid ul Fitr this year.

Many people in Pakistan are wondering when Eid ul Fitr will be this year since the first half of Ramadan is almost over.

There are reports online that say people in South Asian countries, including Pakistan, might get 6 days off for the holiday!

Weather experts predict Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 10th. This means Pakistanis would likely have fasted for 29 days during Ramadan. The festive celebrations typically begin the night before Eid, known as “Chand Raat.”

Reports say the government might announce 4 official holidays from Tuesday, April 9th to Friday, April 12th. This would be followed by the weekend, making it a potential 6-day break.

However, it’s important to note that the final decision on the holiday schedule isn’t confirmed yet. The government will consult with weather experts and other departments before making an official announcement.

Even if they don’t get the full 6 days off, there’s still a good chance Pakistanis will get at least 5 days to celebrate Eid ul Fitr, based on the government’s initial holiday list.
