The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is making parks in Peshawar modern by giving visitors free WiFi.

In today’s world, even though people go to parks to take a break from technology, having WiFi there can make their visit better.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government understands this and wants to make sure people can stay online, do their work, or have fun with digital entertainment even when they’re outside.

Local newspapers have reported that the government in the northwest part of Pakistan has decided to provide free WiFi in the public parks of Peshawar. The Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, led a meeting to talk about how to keep the city clean and nice, and also about new fun things for people to do.

At this meeting, the Chief Minister told the people in charge to get the plans for the free WiFi ready so that the government of the province could agree to it.

He also talked about making the WiFi available in more cities later on. The group also agreed to start a new fast bus service on Nasir Bagh Road to make traveling around the city better for everyone.

The Chief Minister stressed the importance of using solar energy for street lights, building underpasses for easier travel, and fixing roads quickly, especially near the new bus route at University Road.

He also wants to make the city look nicer with fake plants and paintings on walls and bridges that show the local culture. For all these ideas, he’s looking for help from private companies.
