PTI claims unfairness in the by-elections and plans protests all over the country.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party is unhappy with the recent by-elections, calling them “fraudulent”.

They plan to protest across the country on Friday, April 26. PTI’s Secretary General, Omar Ayub Khan, claims that the elections were rigged and that internet and mobile services were suspended as part of this.

He has asked the Election Commission of Pakistan to investigate these claims. The protests will start in Faisalabad and will be held in all areas where PTI won.

Despite these claims, the Nawaz-led party won most seats in the by-elections according to unofficial results. Other parties also won some seats.
