Jamileh Alamolhoda, Iran’s First Lady, attended a ceremony at the Iranian Embassy and opened a cultural fair at NUML University in Islamabad.
She also visited Pakistan Sweet Home, where she praised Pakistani women for their role in society and advised students to focus on education and character building. She gave out certificates to the children there.
Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, a Pakistani politician and daughter of President Asif Ali Zardari, was with the First Lady during these events.
She spoke about the strong relationship between Pakistan and Iran, which share a common religion, history, and culture. The First Lady prayed for Benazir Bhutto, a former prime minister of Pakistan, and gave her book to Aseefa Bhutto Zardari.
