A young Dutch celebrity named Donnie Roelvink (26) recently converted to Islam.
A video of the ceremony at a mosque went viral online. Roelvink says he doesn’t mind the attention since it happened in a public place.
This decision comes after a tough year for Roelvink. In 2022, he had a serious accident and was diagnosed with cancer. These events led him to explore his faith and ultimately embrace Islam.
Roelvink has been attending the mosque, reading religious texts, and even observing Ramadan fasts. Islam is one of the fastest-growing religions in the world, and Roelvink isn’t the only celebrity convert. Last year, a famous Muay Thai fighter and a German soccer player also converted.
