The group that picks players for Pakistan’s women’s cricket team has new members.

Pakistan’s women’s cricket team just finished playing a series against the West Indies.

Even though they lost the series overall, they won the last game!

Because the recent results weren’t ideal, the people who pick players for the women’s team (the selection committee) have been changed. Some members from the old committee are staying on, but there are also new people joining.

These new members include former cricket players Abdul Razzaq and Asad Shafiq, who also help pick players for the men’s team, and Batool Fatima, who used to play for Pakistan herself. The coach and the captain of the women’s team will also have a say in who gets picked now.

The most important thing for this new selection committee is to pick the right players for their next big trip. They’re going to England in May to play in some important matches!
