The director of the movie “Gunjal” won an award for their first-ever movie at a big film festival in India.

There was a big film festival in New Delhi, India, called the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival.

It was the 14th year they held this festival, and it’s known for showing the best movies from all over the world. This year, a Pakistani director named Shoaib Sultan won an award for his very first movie! The movie’s called “Gunjal” and it came out in Pakistan last December. It stars some famous Pakistani actors and actresses.

Winning this award is a big deal for both Sultan and Pakistan’s film industry. It shows that people around the world are impressed by Sultan’s filmmaking skills and the story he tells in “Gunjal.” Sultan, who currently lives in Saudi Arabia, was very happy to win.

He said this award is a great sign for Pakistani movies. He also mentioned how the Pakistani government is supporting the film industry more these days, which will hopefully lead to even better movies being made in the future.
