Hazim Bangwar, known as Karachi’s ‘cool’ assistant commissioner, was seen at the Hum Style Awards.

Hazim Bangwar, the Assistant Commissioner of North Nazimabad, has gained attention for his unique personality and approach since he began his government service a couple of years ago.

He’s been dubbed Karachi’s ‘cool’ assistant commissioner by the media and recently made an appearance at the Hum Style Awards.

Taking to Instagram, Bangwar shared his thoughts, saying, “While Pakistan may not have the Met Gala, we have the Hum Style Awards showcasing abundant style and talent.”

Originally a singer, Bangwar transitioned into public service and has been widely praised for his positive impact on the community. Earlier this year, he achieved a significant milestone by announcing on social media that he had been accepted into a master’s degree program at Harvard University.

Born in New York, Bangwar’s family moved to Pakistan when he was just six days old. Despite spending time in the United States and London, he chose to return to Pakistan voluntarily to serve his country and its people. He successfully passed a competitive exam and was appointed as the Assistant Commissioner of North Nazimabad, specifically in the revenue department.
