Islamabad is going digital with property transactions using E-Stamps instead of paper.

The Islamabad Capital Administration is implementing a streamlined system for property transactions through the introduction of e-stamp papers.

This initiative aims to expedite and enhance the efficiency of real estate dealings within the city.

E-stamp papers offer several advantages over traditional paper stamps. They boast enhanced security features, employing barcode technology to mitigate the risk of fraud. Additionally, the switch to e-stamps will significantly reduce the need for physical paperwork, simplifying the entire documentation process.

The Deputy Commissioner, Irfan Nawaz Memon, emphasized the importance of a smooth implementation during a recent meeting with representatives from Punjab Bank. The meeting focused on operational details, security measures, and seamless integration of e-stamps with existing systems.

The administration recognizes the need for public awareness and training. They have committed to providing resources and conducting training programs to ensure a smooth transition for all stakeholders involved in property transactions within Islamabad. This commitment underscores the administration’s ongoing efforts to leverage technology for improved public service delivery.
