Foreign Minister from Turkey, Hakan Fidan, met with Pakistan’s army chief, General Syed Asim Munir.
They talked about things that are important to both countries, like staying friendly and working together.
According to a statement from the Pakistani army, both sides agreed that Turkey and Pakistan have a strong relationship built on history, culture, and religion. The Turkish Foreign Minister also praised Pakistan’s army for helping to keep the region peaceful and stable.
Fidan is on a two-day official visit to Pakistan. He just arrived yesterday and was welcomed by a Pakistani diplomat. He’s also scheduled to meet with other important Pakistani leaders to discuss how their countries can work together even more in the future.
