Shibli (PTI) criticizes the government for actions against his party.

Shibli Faraz, the opposition leader in the Senate, criticized the government for its actions against the PTI.

He said these actions were happening while the government was in charge. Faraz was angry as he spoke in the Senate, mentioning the recent partial demolition of the PTI’s central office in Islamabad by the police and local authorities for allegedly breaking building rules.

Faraz mentioned that the PTI complained to the Islamabad police chief about 35 officials who raided their office. He said the raid happened when a United Nations delegation was present. Faraz claimed that during the raid, PTI workers were beaten and the head of the party’s Islamabad chapter, Amir Mughal, was arrested.

Faraz accused the PML-N-led coalition government of not winning more than 27 seats in the National Assembly in the recent elections. He said the government should act more decently since they allegedly came to power unfairly. Faraz criticized the government for creating hatred instead of winning people’s hearts, and he pointed out that economic statistics were not positive due to political instability. He concluded by saying that even though the government might use force, the love for Imran Khan among the people would not fade away, and history would remember their actions.
