Afridi joins other cricket stars like Yuvraj Singh, Chris Gayle, and even Usain Bolt as ambassadors for the big event. Afridi is a T20 World Cup hero for Pakistan, having played a key role in getting them to the finals in 2007 and winning it all in 2009. He even won Player of the Tournament in 2007!
Afridi is excited to be a part of this T20 World Cup, which will have more teams, more matches, and even more drama than ever before. He’s especially looking forward to the epic India vs. Pakistan match on June 9th!
