Pakistan’s government believes Afghanistan was behind a bombing that killed Chinese workers in Pakistan.
They blame a banned Pakistani group called the TTP and foreign intelligence agencies for planning the attack in Afghanistan.
Pakistan wants Afghanistan to arrest the people they believe were involved, but Afghanistan hasn’t done anything yet. Pakistan says they will take action on their own if Afghanistan doesn’t cooperate.
The attack was planned in Afghanistan by the TTP with help from foreign intelligence agencies.
A suicide bomber from Afghanistan carried out the attack. The car used in the bombing was smuggled into Pakistan from Afghanistan.
Pakistani handlers helped prepare the bomber for the attack.
Pakistan says they’ve arrested some of the people involved and are planning to bring them to trial. They’ve also put in place new safety measures to protect Chinese workers in Pakistan.
