Panjutha said Imran was updated on the court’s decision during a visit to jail.
Panjutha also defended Imran’s comments about the 1971 events, saying they were based on a report. Imran also raised concerns about a minister’s assets.
Former president and PTI leader Dr. Arif Alvi criticized the lack of accountability in Pakistan. He thanked the court for a fair decision in Imran’s case.
Alvi criticized the media for focusing on less important issues. He said talks with political rivals haven’t been fruitful lately.
