The Saudi Supreme Court has stated the upcoming observance of Eid al-Adha.
Arafat Day, a significant day within the Hajj pilgrimage, will be observed on Saturday, June 15th.
Eid al-Adha itself will commence the following day, on Sunday, June 16th.
Eid al-Adha, a prominent Islamic holiday, traditionally falls on the 10th day of the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah.
Arafat Day, a sacred day dedicated to prayer and reflection during Hajj precedes Eid al-Adha and is observed on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah.
The commencement of Dhu al-Hijjah this year coincides with June 7th.
