Imran Khan has been cleared of charges in another ‘Azadi March’ case.

Judicial Magistrate Malik Imran has acquitted Imran Khan and several other PTI leaders due to lack of evidence in another ‘Azadi March’ case.

The police had filed an FIR against Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rashid, Sadaqat Abbasi, and Ali Nawaz Awan for violating Section 144 and vandalism.

The PTI leadership faced over a dozen FIRs related to the Azadi March on May 25, 2022, after the PTI government was ousted through a no-confidence motion.

These FIRs, registered in various Islamabad police stations, included charges like rioting, unlawful assembly, obstructing public service, and causing damage. Imran Khan has already been acquitted in multiple similar cases filed by the Karachi Company and Khanna police.
