Zeenat Aman, a famous Bollywood actress, recently shared a story about how she met a Pakistani family in London.
She was tired from filming but ended up inviting the family to her hotel room. The family had two teenagers, Nazia and Zoheb, who were interested in music. Zeenat learned that Nazia sang and even listened to her perform.
Later, Zeenat introduced Nazia to a movie director who was impressed with her voice. Nazia then sang a famous song for the movie “Qurbani”.
Nazia sadly passed away but her music is still loved by many people. Zeenat said that Nazia “revolutionized how we South Asians disco”.
