Imran Khan might get out of jail, says Rana Sanaullah.

Rana Sanaullah, Advisor to the Prime Minister, predicted that PTI Founder Imran Khan might be released from jail on June 27.

He stated that the government aims to keep Khan detained to prevent chaos but assured that Khan’s release wouldn’t lead to major unrest. Sanaullah stressed the need for dialogue and said negotiations could happen if Khan stopped promoting disorder.

He warned that the government would act firmly if Khan causes trouble but is open to talks if things improve. Sanaullah criticized Khan for not following democratic principles and mentioned possible legal actions to keep him detained.

Regarding parliamentary seats, Sanaullah said parties are entitled to their seats and hinted at possible changes to the Election Act. He noted that PM Shahbaz Sharif consulted with Nawaz Sharif on decisions and denied any meeting between Nawaz Sharif and former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa during the no-confidence motion. He also dismissed Muhammad Zubair’s statements as speculative and incorrect, acknowledging routine meetings between Shehbaz Sharif and General Bajwa during his tenure.
