In Islamabad, Huawei, China’s leading company, will start teaching young Pakistanis various technology courses from July 2024.
Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja announced that Huawei agreed to train Pakistani youth during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to China. She highlighted that 70% of Pakistan’s population is young and said IT training would create job opportunities.
Huawei’s Courses:
Huawei will train young Pakistanis in IT and artificial intelligence.
Course Duration:
Courses will last three to six months and teach modern technologies, helping participants earn good incomes locally and internationally.
Course Locations:
Training will be in various Pakistani cities, starting in July.
How to Apply:
Details on applying for courses haven’t been shared yet. Updates will come from the government.
Course Fees:
The government aims to provide free training, but final decisions are pending.
