Pakistani TV host Anoushey Ashraf has finally answered the question many people ask her: she is now married.
She announced her marriage to those who had been curious about her plans.
Anoushey had a small, private nikah ceremony with close friends and family. She shared the news on Instagram on Sunday, posting pictures from her special day with a humorous caption: “Beta aapne abhi tak shaadi kyun nahi ki? [Dear, why haven’t you got married yet?] Lo, Karli [See, I just did it].”
She wore a white and gold chikankari dress and chose a natural makeup look for the event. She also shared a picture with her partner from another occasion, which her sister, Natasha Qizilbash, had posted.
Anoushey’s post received over 13,000 likes and more than 1,000 comments, with many stars from the entertainment industry congratulating her.
Pakistani actor Ayeza Khan, sisters Aiman and Minal Khan, fashion designer Hassan Sheheryar, and others sent their best wishes to the new bride.
Anoushey Ashraf first became famous in the early 2000s as one of the earliest VJs, appearing on a popular music channel.
