KARACHI – Big news for Karachi commuters! The Sindh Transport Department is rolling out three new routes for the Peoples Bus Service, starting July 22, to make getting around the city easier and more convenient.
Here’s what’s new:
- Route 13: Starting July 22, this route will run from Hawks Bay to Tower.
- Route 12: From July 23, this route will be extended to Tower, passing through Quaidabad, Korangi, and Memon Goth.
- Route EV 4: Kicking off July 24, this new route will connect Bahria Town to Numaish.
- Route Yousaf Goth to Tower: Launching July 25, this route will serve commuters between Yousaf Goth and Tower.
Information Minister Sharjeel Memon highlighted that these additions are part of the Sindh government’s commitment to improving public transport in Karachi. The goal is to offer residents more affordable, accessible, and comfortable travel options.
“The Sindh government is dedicated to serving the people with fairness and efficiency,” Memon stated. “We’re also working to bring more buses into service and introduce additional routes to better meet the needs of our citizens.”
