ISLAMABAD – A man discovered a missile in Islamabad’s Golra Sharif area just days before Independence Day. He immediately reported it to the Golra Sharif police.
Police officers quickly arrived at the scene, secured the area, and called in the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), who safely removed the missile. Authorities have now launched an investigation to determine the type of missile and how it ended up in a public place.
As Independence Day approaches, the streets of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are filled with patriotic energy. Children and young people are celebrating with flags, badges, and themed clothing. The city administration is preparing for grand celebrations, including flag-hoisting ceremonies, decorations on government buildings, and a historical photo exhibition at the Arts Council.
