LAHORE – Popular Pakistani YouTuber and internet personality Aun Ali Khosa, known for his humorous content, has safely returned home after being missing for a week, his family confirmed on Monday.
Aun, who gained fame with his song “Bill Bill Pakistan,” was reportedly abducted from his apartment in Lahore on the night of August 13th. After six days, he was released and reunited with his family.
According to lawyer Mian Ali Ashfaq, who represents journalist Imran Khan, Aun has returned home safely, though details about the abduction remain unclear. Some reports suggest that he was taken by agencies due to an anti-state song he released, but this has not been confirmed.
Last week, the Lahore High Court ordered the police to find Aun Ali Khosa by August 20 after his wife, Binish Iqbal, filed a petition. She claimed that her husband was unlawfully detained by unknown armed men who forcibly entered their home on August 15, took his belongings, and then took him away.
