35 Pakistani Citizens Killed in Bus Accident in Iran’s Yazd Province

A tragic accident in Yazd, Iran, claimed the lives of at least 35 Pakistani citizens, with 15 others seriously injured after a bus overturned and caught fire. The incident took place near the Taftan-Dehshir checkpoint late last night.

Local authorities and media sources report that 30 people died at the scene, while five more passed away later in the hospital. The bus, which was carrying 53 passengers, was part of a two-bus convoy. Emergency services quickly responded, transporting the injured to a nearby hospital, where most remain in critical condition.

Initial reports suggest that the bus’s brakes may have failed, leading to the accident. Hospitals in the area have been placed on high alert to provide urgent care to the survivors.
