Nawaz Sharif, the leader of PML-N, has called for open and unconditional talks with all political parties, including PTI, to resolve the country’s political issues. Adviser to the Prime Minister, Rana Sanaullah, shared this while speaking to a local TV channel on Wednesday.

He emphasized that PML-N supports democracy and dialogue, urging PTI to be more flexible for meaningful discussions. This follows comments made by Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, who denied receiving specific instructions from Nawaz to initiate talks with PTI. Asif had previously stated that talks could only proceed if PTI apologized for the May 9 incidents.

Sanaullah also mentioned that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently extended an offer for open discussions, saying Nawaz has long advocated for all political parties to come together and address the nation’s ongoing crises.

The ruling PML-N has also reportedly engaged with Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the leader of PkMAP, for potential talks with PTI. Sanaullah confirmed conversations with Achakzai, who is also open to moving forward.

Regarding the Balochistan National Party (BNP-M) and its leader Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Sanaullah said the government has prioritized resolving issues in Balochistan. Mengal had resigned from the National Assembly due to the worsening situation in the province, but after talks with the government, there are hopes of addressing his concerns.

The PML-N remains committed to resolving political tensions through dialogue and collaboration with all parties involved.
