LONDON: Pakistani TikTok star Hareem Shah has officially entered British politics by joining the Liberal Democrats and participating in their recent election campaign.
Earlier this year, in March, Hareem Shah expressed her ambition to one day become a member of the British Parliament. In a recent interview with a private channel, she confirmed that she has now begun her political journey in the UK.
“I’ve started working for the Liberal Democrats, and I’m thankful to the party for considering me capable of contributing. I aim to meet their expectations and play a positive role in this country,” said Hareem Shah.
She also mentioned that some of her friends are actively working within the party.
Hareem Shah further revealed that she is pursuing an LLB degree in the UK, having already completed her Master’s in Pakistan, and is a Hafiz-e-Quran. She added that her educational expenses, including accommodation, gym fees, and transportation, are fully covered by the British government.
