Justice Babar Sattar Takes Month-Long Leave After Summer Break

Islamabad High Court (IHC) Justice Babar Sattar has gone on a month-long leave, soon after returning from his summer break, ARY News reported.

Sources revealed that Justice Sattar applied for leave on Thursday, which was approved by Chief Justice Aamer Farooq. A notification regarding the leave was sent to the Ministry of Law and Justice, as well as to relevant officials, including the registrar and additional registrars.

Justice Sattar had also taken a month’s leave during the summer season.

In July, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) discovered multiple social media accounts involved in a malicious campaign against Justice Babar Sattar and his family. A 10-page report was submitted to the IHC, revealing that 39 Twitter accounts were used in the smear campaign, 29 of which were identified as fake. The FIA sent details of 10 fake accounts to NADRA for further verification, and NADRA has since provided information on four of them.
