Plane Collision and Fire at Haneda Airport, carrying 379 passengers: passengers reportedly safe

A collision occurred between a passenger plane landing at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport and another Coast Guard aircraft on the runway, according to reports from the Japanese capital. Social media is abuzz with viral videos and images showing the passenger plane engulfed in flames. The aircraft, carrying 379 passengers, was in the process of landing at Tokyo Airport when it collided with another Coast Guard aircraft on the runway, resulting in a severe impact. Both planes caught fire immediately.

Tokyo Airport authorities have reported that all 379 passengers on board the aircraft were safely evacuated following emergency protocols, and the fire has been extinguished. The passenger plane was arriving from Sapporo Airport in Japan.
