Discover the craze around celebrity-favorite bone broth, including its benefits and recipe.

Bone broth is highly valued in Hollywood, with celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Kylie Jenner making it a regular part of their diets. This liquid gold is not just a trendy choice; it provides numerous health benefits beyond your typical chicken noodle soup.

The process involves simmering animal bones and cartilage for an extended period, releasing collagen and other nutrients. The broth is then enhanced with skin and gut-friendly ingredients such as herbs, spices, and vegetables, creating a nourishing and flavorful soup.

Scientifically, bones contain essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium, crucial for maintaining our bone health. Moreover, the collagen-rich broth is a potent source of support for hair, skin, and nails. It also contains vitamin B12 and vitamin D, contributing to immune system enhancement.

While bone broth is considered a superfood, registered nutritionist Rhiannon Lambert suggests it should complement, not replace, entire meals. Adding variety to your diet is essential, and incorporating bone broth into main meals or enjoying it as a comforting hot drink between meals can be a great choice.
