A group of Hindu pilgrims is arriving in Pakistan today to celebrate Shivratri.

A group of 200 Hindu pilgrims is set to travel from India to Pakistan through the Wahga border to celebrate the Hindu Shivratri festival.

The pilgrimage is organized with the cooperation of the Evacuee Trust Property Board and local Hindu leaders, who will warmly welcome the pilgrims.

Various arrangements, including security, transportation, and accommodation, have been meticulously taken care of to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey for the pilgrims.

After arriving in Lahore on March 6, the pilgrims will proceed to Katas Raj on March 7.

The main highlight of the celebration is the Mahashivratri function scheduled for March 9 at the historic Katas Raj Temple in Chakwal.

The pilgrims will then return to Lahore on March 10. Subsequently, on March 11, they will visit significant sites such as the Krishna Temple, Lahore Fort, and other historical places.

The concluding day of the pilgrimage is March 12, when the Hindu pilgrims will bid farewell to Pakistan and return to India.

This cultural exchange fosters goodwill and strengthens the bonds between the two nations, allowing for the celebration and sharing of religious and historical significance.
