A plane just landed in Islamabad, Pakistan, bringing students back from Kyrgyzstan.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, took immediate action to bring home Pakistani students following violence in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Following the Prime Minister’s orders, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam, welcomed the students back at Islamabad Airport.

Minister Muqam spoke to the media, highlighting the Prime Minister’s close attention to the situation and his swift response to ensure the students’ safety. He reassured the students that the Pakistani government would provide all necessary assistance to anyone who wished to return home.

The Minister also revealed plans for additional flights to bring back all students who wanted to leave Bishkek. He emphasized the government’s commitment to protecting the lives and well-being of all Pakistani citizens, both at home and abroad.

Minister Muqam went a step further, personally speaking with the students. He inquired about their experiences during the violence and listened to their concerns. This personalized approach demonstrates the government’s care for the students’ well-being beyond simply bringing them home.

By taking these swift actions, the Pakistani government is prioritizing the safety of its students studying abroad and ensuring their return if they feel unsafe.
