A student from Britain got her artwork back from a scrap shop in Lahore.

British student, Grace Hart, managed to recover her lost sketchbooks with the help of a kind-hearted Pakistani man from a scrap shop in Lahore.

The story unfolded when Tajwar Munir, a fashion photographer from Lahore, found Grace’s sketchbooks at a scrap shop. To his surprise, the shopkeeper sold the books for just Rs200, which is less than a US dollar.

Tajwar Munir noticed that there were three sketchbooks by the same artist, and they were signed by someone named Grace Hart. Intrigued by the artist’s work, Munir decided to investigate how the sketchbooks ended up in Lahore.

Through social media, Munir reached out to Grace Hart, who is a student studying fashion in Britain. Hart explained that she had unintentionally lost her sketchbooks, and she had no idea they had traveled all the way to Lahore.

Motivated to help, Munir got Grace’s postal address and sent her sketchbooks back to England. This unexpected turn of events played a crucial role in Grace’s success story, as she had lost her artwork when her mother, Sonia, mistakenly included the sketchbooks in items destined for a charity shop.

For Grace, these sketchbooks held significant importance as they were part of her portfolio for university admission. Thanks to Tajwar Munir’s kindness and determination, Grace not only recovered her lost artwork but also regained a crucial element for her academic and creative journey.
