A team for finding missing persons has been formed again.

In Islamabad, the group that deals with finding missing persons got approval from the federal cabinet on Wednesday. The law minister will now lead this committee. Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar led the meeting.

The committee needed a new leader because the Interior Minister, Sarfraz Bugti, resigned. The cabinet also gave the green light for moving federal courts and tribunals in the city for building the Supreme Court Karachi Registry.

During the meeting, they approved the Cannabis Control and Regulatory Authority Ordinance 2024. This decision was then sent to the cabinet committee for legislative cases.

In a sad note, the meeting paid respects to security officials who lost their lives while protecting the polio eradication team in Bajaur. Kakar promised to keep working on the government’s mission to completely get rid of polio, a disease that causes paralysis.
