A Turkish general meets with CJCSC to talk about military connections between the two countries.

On Wednesday, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, General Irfan Ozsert, met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza at Joint Staff Headquarters.

During their meeting, they discussed various matters related to the military engagement and cooperation between the two countries. Both sides expressed their commitment to strengthening their strategic ties even further.

The Turkish general praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged the sacrifices they have made in the fight against terrorism.

Before the meeting, upon his arrival at Joint Staff Headquarters, a well-dressed tri-services contingent presented a ‘Guard of Honour’ to the distinguished visitor, adding a ceremonial touch to the welcoming proceedings. This visit and exchange highlight the ongoing efforts to enhance military collaboration and strengthen the bonds between Turkey and Pakistan.
