After Islamabad High Court, Lahore High Court, and Supreme Court judges also get letters.

Several Pakistani courts, including the Islamabad High Court (IHC), Lahore High Court (LHC), and Supreme Court (SC), received threatening letters containing an unidentified white powder substance.

The letters, received on April 1st and distributed on April 2nd, targeted judges and referenced the Pakistani political party Tehreek-i-Namoos Pakistan. Some court staff who came into contact with the powder reported minor irritation.

Authorities are currently investigating the source of the letters and the nature of the powder. Forensic analysis is underway to determine the substance’s composition. Additionally, investigators are reviewing CCTV footage and other evidence to identify the culprit(s).

An FIR (First Information Report) has been registered under relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA).
