The celebrations for cricket player Imamul Haq’s winter wedding to Anmol Mehmood are underway. At the Nishat Hotel in Lahore on Thursday, the couple enjoyed their qawali night.
The bride wore a lavishly beaded grey lehenga to the ceremony, while the groom wore a dark blue kurta covered in sequins.
Cricket players Babar Azam, Usman Qadir, and Mushtaq Ahmed were among those invited; they were enjoying a vacation from their preparations for the Australian series.
Legends of cricket include Azhar Ali, Wahab Riaz, Waqar Younis, Muhammad Yousuf, and Sarfaraz Ahmed were also in attendance.
Imzamamul Haq, the uncle of the groom, was seen socializing with other former cricket players.
TailorMade Vision caught the start of the festivities with a mehndi ceremony in Norway, which featured traditional decorations including colorful drapes, flowers, and ladoos.
The wedding craze began when Haq posted an image of Anmol’s mehndi with the caption “Imam Ki Anmol,” from a post by designer HSY. In front of a picturesque setting, the bride wore a farshi gharara in shades of burnt orange and deep red, accessorized with traditional green jewelry.
