A strange event unfolded in Berhampur, India, as a 52-year-old woman named Bujji Aama, who was thought to be dead, came back to life just before her scheduled cremation.
Bujji Aama had suffered severe burns in a house fire on February 1. Due to financial difficulties, she was taken back home in a critical condition after initial treatment at the MKCG Medical College and Hospital.
Several days later, on a Monday, when attempts were made to wake her up, she did not respond. Believing that she had passed away, Aama’s husband, Sibaram Palo, along with neighbors, arranged for her transportation to the cremation ground.
On the planned day of the cremation, while preparing the funeral pyre, something astonishing happened—Aama, who was presumed dead, arrived at the venue. One of the mourners, Chiranjibi, witnessed this unbelievable moment as Aama opened her eyes.
Chiranjibi mentioned, “Initially, we were scared, as we had never seen such an incident, though we had heard some stories.”
Upon her awakening, the hearse driver, Khetrabashi Sahu, who had initially transported what was believed to be Aama’s lifeless body, was urgently called back to the cremation ground.
Aama, still alive and breathing, was rescued from what could have been a premature end to her life. She was then taken back home in the same hearse.
