Wajeeha Ahmed Abbasi, the General Manager of NPO, addressed participants at the Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and highlighted that NPO is actively spreading knowledge about vegetable dehydration nationwide.
She emphasized the government’s dedication to boosting vegetable exports. Mian Rashid Iqbal, the President of the Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, pointed out significant opportunities for vegetable exports in foreign markets.
He expressed concern over a substantial percentage of vegetable losses due to inadequate facilities. Iqbal endorsed vegetable dehydration as a beneficial project that could not only preserve vegetables but also enhance exports.
He suggested exploring the use of solar dryers and advocated training programs to promote this innovative project. Iqbal pledged full support and cooperation in organizing training programs.
